Tory Gant

Tory’s educational background comes from extensive study in psychology at Lubbock Christian University and his training as an ordained minister. As a youth director, Tory spent seven years doing outreach on the streets of the Austin, Texas area where he accomplished such things as helping gang members to overcome their destructive lifestyles. This outreach required developing relationships with these troubled teens and in a sense, becoming "family" to them. Through his efforts, several gang members were transformed into positive role models. He has also spent countless hours feeding the homeless and sharing hope with those who were seemingly hopeless. Tory has four years experience in facilitating peer leadership, low ropes course and peer mediation to at-risk students. He has been a keynote speaker at numerous conferences and in school youth development groups across the state of Texas. His unique style of speaking brings humor as well as drama to his presentations. He endeavors to instill joy, and more importantly, a sense of value to his audience.

Eloy Rendon

I was born and raised by two hard working, loving, and forgiving parents in Laredo, Texas, who after God, I owe my life to. The two things that changed my life were my parents guiding me to a life of responsibility and them leading me to a life of education. Given the fact that Laredo is a border town, I was exposed to the liberation of Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. As a high school athlete upon graduation from United High School, I was offered a scholarship to play baseball for Texas A & I University. During training camp I tore a muscle on my right shoulder, and I wasn't able to further my baseball career.

I moved to Dallas, Texas. I worked maintenance for the World's Gym making lower than minimum wage. IWhile working full time I enrolled at Richland Community College part time. After two years, I transferred to South West Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. In my early twenties, I got the opportunity to work for the talent agency Entourage in San Antonio, Texas. I started taking some acting classes at SWT University; there my teacher referred me to a famous acting school in Hollywood, California (American Academy of Dramatic Arts). I challenged myself, and I took two years off from college. I auditioned for this acting school and I was accepted. After two years in Los Angeles, California, I received a certification from this acting school and I also got the opportunity to study for my personal fitness certification from Future Fit Certification Co.

I have developed presentations that are based on real life experiences and true facts of life. I love to keep it "REAL". It is through real life challenges, experiences and true facts of life that I have captured the minds and the attention of students. These stories have helped to educate, stimulate, and penetrate my message of EMPOWERMENT.
